The Membership Committee focuses on not only bringing in new members, but also ensuring that the member experience exceeds everyone’s expectations. The committee chair will work with the Board of Directors to develop a member prospect list and potential recruitment opportunities, and the committee will work collaboratively to conduct outreach. This committee also receives a list of new/renewed members each month and sends an additional, member-to-member welcome. In addition, they review any questionable membership applications and approve/disapprove as needed.  New this year, the membership committee will also assist in membership processing and on-boarding.

The Education Committee brainstorms ideas for our monthly speaker series, approves quarterly lunch & learn sponsors, as well as develops additional ideas for continuing education. New this year, this committee will also be responsible for planning our ‘Keynote Series’ and other high-impact educational programming (previous events include Alex Epstein, and Robert Bryce in March 2020).

The Mentor Program Committee is composed of previous alumni of the Program and supports the current class’ programming, as well as continuing to develop strategies to support the continued improvement and success of the program. New this year, the Mentor Program Committee will also be responsible for organizing alumni events.

*NEW IN 2020* The Marketing Committee will work collaboratively to develop an overall public brand for the organization and support in the creation & implementation of a strategic communications plan based on the identification of key stakeholders. Furthermore, this committee will also strengthen the Club’s social media presence and create a detailed social media plan, supported with on-brand marketing graphics.

*NEW IN 2020* The Events Committee works with the Executive Director & Board Chair to support the Club’s two main fundraising events of the year; the Summer BBQ and Golf Tournament. This committee will assist in soliciting sponsorships and silent auction items, planning event programming, and support with day-of volunteering for both events. Furthermore, the group will work to create strategies moving forward to ensure the Club’s fundraising events continue to be innovative and successful.

Registration volunteers will be responsible for welcoming event attendees, assisting with check-in, helping attendees find their name badge, providing materials or items to guests as necessary, and general DPC staff assistance. This role is crucial for the success of our events, and a great way to get to know your fellow DPC members!
