 About the Speaker

Brian Pugh currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for BP L48 where he is responsible for production operations, purchasing and supply chain management, and data and analytics. Brian joined BP L48 in 2015 from SandRidge Energy where he served in a variety of operational positions including Vice President of Production Operations for their Midcontinent business unit. Brian began his career in the industry working for Shell where he served in various engineering and operational roles.

Prior to joining the industry Brian served our country as an Active Duty Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Army. His five years of military service included a tour in Iraq, where he was awarded a Bronze Star Medal.

He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2002.
